West Midlands Safari & Leisure Park Review:

West Midland Safari and Leisure Park is located in Worcestershire, England. This fantastic family attraction provides an amazing fun-filled day out and an experience that everyone can enjoy.  This award winning attraction is home to the world’s most beautiful and endangered exotic animal species as well as a superb theme park with a variety of brilliant rides. Known for their safari drive through, this park also provides additional experiences like the Sea Lion Show and the Discovering Reptiles show.

Once you have entered the park you have the opportunity to go to the safari drive through or the walk through park. When we visited, we went to the safari drive through first and it mind blowing to see some fantastic animals up close. As you drive you are able to feed some animals (look at signs) with the food available to purchase from the kiosk upon entering the park. During the drive through you can come up close with camels and even rhinos just to name a few. The drive through can last at least 2 hours (depending on times) so ensure you bring snacks and drinks for an enjoyable time. In addition, if you know that your car is likely to overheat during the safari then do not enter, park your car and wait for one of the park’s buses to take you round instead. When we visited many people broke down due to overheating engines (it was a hot day).

The walk-through area is split into six different areas. One of these areas is the Land of Living Dinosaurs which has detailed structures of many breath taking dinosaurs for the young ones to be immersed in the surrounding environment.

Another area is the Adventure theme park section, entry is at an additional cost but it is worth the price with rides for everyone to enjoy from roller coasters to carousels. The Adventure Theme Park is open from 11:00am daily during the summer season, 11th February to 3rd November 2017. The prices for wristbands can be seen below:
