Universal Studios Florida Review

Universal Studios Florida is one of two amazing theme parks at the Universal Orlando Resort. This 107-acre theme park features cutting-edge attractions based on hit films and TV shows that create a highly immersive experience enabling guests to step into the imaginative world of pop-culture and become the star.  All guests will have a heart-pounding and jaw-dropping time at this park.

The stand-out attraction is Diagon Alley which is part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and stretches over to the other park, Islands Of Adventure by featuring Hogsmeade. This highly themed area includes incredible shops with authentic food and beverages (butter-beer is recommended) and of course the thrilling coaster ride Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, which is unlike any other ride taking guests on a mind-blowing ride through the Gringotts vaults. It does this by using advanced technology combining 4D effects and a roller-coaster ride interacting with the much loved Harry Potter characters along the
way.

Guests can also take a ride on the Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross to travel further into The Wizarding World, to Hogsmeade located in the resort’s other theme park at Islands of Adventure. The journey again involves meeting some iconic characters like Hagrid and even an encounter with a dementor.

The incredible theming and creativity within the attractions make this theme park extraordinary to experience. There are also multiple fantastic attractions including the Hollywood Rip Rockit ride, a one of a kind thrill ride lifting you 167 feet above the ground and taking you through multiple drops, twists and turns. It does all of this while you listen to a song of your choice. Another highly immersive area is the town of Springfield with lots of different dining options available to feel like you are really in The Simpsons. We highly recommend you get a Krusty burger which is delicious and once again add to the imaginative experience. The land of Springfield also comes with a stunning simulator based on your favourite Simpsons characters to immerse you further into the much-loved TV show.

Men in Black Alien Attack tests your potential to be a MIB agent as you are taken through an area overrun with aliens and it’s up to you to zap them with your very own blaster. This creates a competitive experience with friends and family to see who can get the highest score! In Transformers 3D guests are recruited ready for a high-tech battle to save Planet Earth. They fight alongside the popular film characters Optimus Prime and the Autobots as they fight Megatron and the Decepticons. Another thrilling ride is The Revenge of The Mummy which uses special effects to terrify guests as you drop go backwards and accelerate at a high speed.

Rides more suitable for children include E.T. adventure involving the guests helping E.T. getting back to his home to save his home planet by travelling on a bike ride through the air. As well as Shrek 4D which involves you through a funny 4D adventure with Shrek, Donkey and Fiona also Lord Farquad, suitable for everyone. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem makes younger guests’ faces light up with delight as they are able to interact with characters from the film franchise on a great simulated ride.

Universal Studios Florida has a lot to offer with lots of dining options and different unique shops. Another thing to point out is the great photo opportunities available to be taken by yourself or a photographer with the scan of a Universal Photo pass (extra fee). The pass can also be used to get in-ride pictures, which is a great benefit.

This park gives a thrilling and exciting experience for all the guests that visit as they explore the different highly immersive ride systems that leave you with great memories. The park makes you feel as if you are part of some of your favourite movies because of the creativity used in building this park. This park is suitable for anyone of all ages, with something for everyone to enjoy and be involved in.
