Madame Tussauds London Review:

Madame Tussauds London is a fantastic all-round attraction which maintains a great level of enjoyment for guests all throughout the experience. This is because there are lots of different elements including a 4D cinema, a ride and much more to keep guests entertained.

The main element is, of course, the wax figures. All of which are completely impeccable and very much life-like. Because of this, some great memories and photos can be made while spending time with family. The whole atmosphere inside cannot be experienced anywhere else, it is truly unique with everyone having a great time, with lots of camera flashes as well! This attraction can get very busy, causing you to wait around for a while to get a picture with some of the wax figures, which isn’t that fun.

Madame Tussauds London Review

There are different areas which feature the relevant wax figures. For example, the Film area features your favourite movie characters including Katniss from The Hunger Games, ET, The Terminator and more. There are two additional theatrical experiences which are the Sherlock Holmes Experience and Alien: Escape. Both are very immersive and the actors create a believable experience. You can experience both for £8 per person or you can just purchase the theatrical ticket to have both experiences. The Spirit Of London ride, involves you taking a taxi through the history of London, it creates a very interactive and fun atmosphere, making it the stand out element at Madame Tussauds. The 4D Cinema is good, it follows Marvel Superheroes as they visit London however not all things go to plan. The 3D film did seem slightly outdated but it’s originality made it a memorable experience.

Madame Tussauds London Review

This is a brilliant all-round attraction that certainly exceeds expectations and we consider it a must-do while in London, especially as a family. This attraction gets busy pretty much every day all year round so make sure you pre-book to avoid the long queues. With pre-booked tickets, you go in a queue that it is much shorter than on-the-door tickets queue. You will also get a cheaper price pre-booking online than buying at the gate. You can buy your tickets here!

TOP TIP: Security checks are in place at Madame Tussauds, they will search each bag individually, so try and minimise the number of bags you bring, if you want to get in quicker.

Summary

Madame Tussauds is a fantastic family attraction with, of course, some great photo opportunities and much more. With lots to do, we struggle to fault this attraction: a 4D cinema, a ride in a taxi and a memorable Sherlock Holmes experience. There is something for everyone but sometimes the high crowd levels can be irritating, but this is easily bypassed.
