Aquatica Orlando has something for everyone, from high-speed water slides and exhilarating wave pools to tranquil beaches. Located in the heart of Orlando and open all-year round, it is easily accessible! Voted USA’s #1 water park, it does not fail in providing the best in water rides. With 42 slides, rivers and lagoons and 84,000 square feet of sparkling white, sandy beaches, there are a plethora of opportunities in Aquatica to interact with. With new attractions nearly every year, there is always something new which takes your interest.

A true highlight is Ray Rush™, an action-packed water adventure family raft ride rushing after the colourful rays. Aquatica has had a boost in the thrills on offer with the opening of the new 2019 thrill slide KareKare Curl™. The new slide delivers a high-adrenaline, weightless, memorable adventurous experience.

The Dolphin Plunge showcases the park’s most fascinating animals, plunging guests down 250 feet of clear tubes, underwater and through Aquatica’s beautiful dolphin habitat. Even if it isn’t for some guests, they can still see stunning black-and-white marine mammals without taking the plunge at the Dolphin Lookout.

The Loggerhead Lane is the park’s lazy river in which guests take a break from the thrills and relax around the river while viewing exotic fish as you proceed around the river. It offers the opportunity to float away and lie back with ease after a thrilling ride. Big Surf Shores and Cutback Cove are the two wave pools which are suitable for everyone of all ages as 5-foot waves come flushing toward you.

With a wide range of dining options, there is some great food to try with comfortable seating and indoor queues. Waterstone Grill is the stand-out serving an assortment of sandwiches and salads, desserts and drinks. Mango Market is a grab-and-go restaurant serving picnic baskets full of tasty lunch items ideal for a picnic on the beach. Plus, you can enjoy coffee and other beverages by Starbucks. Banana Beach Cookout features a variety of delicious foods. Choose from BBQ Chicken, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, speciality wraps, salads, kids meals, and divine desserts. Plus your favourite drinks with assorted Coca-Cola options. For additional treats, there are also six food carts located throughout the park and additional snack huts.

Aquatica’s facilities are exceptional with plenty of lockers and changing rooms to enjoy the park with ease. Additional fees are required for Quick Queue passes which help you skip the line and get on the ride quickly with a much shorter wait to enjoy your day to the maximum, from $15 a day. Wave Pool Loungers can also be brought from $15 a day so you can relax on the sandy beach in style.

Aquatica has everything a water-park should have with thrilling attractions, relaxing rivers and beaches also fantastic food to fuel you up for the day. The only negative is that there is a lack of theming when compared with other top water parks in the are, it doesn’t feel to immerse you significantly, but the park is still an absolute blast. The best value ticket for visiting SeaWorld Parks in Florida is the Discovery Cove Ultimate Package, which includes a one-day reservation at Discovery Cove (with 30-minute dolphin swim experience, with meals, snacks and beverages included) plus 14-days unlimited entry to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica Orlando, with free parking included at all parks.
